We are seeking a Purchasing Officer to join our Purchasing Department.

As a Purchasing Officer, you will actively support the purchasing operations of the fleet, ensuring the smooth coordination, follow-up and timely delivery of supplies critical to vessel operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the purchasing process throughout the order lifecycle, ensuring accurate and timely follow-up.
• Process vessel requisitions for supplies such as chemicals, paints and gases.
• Issue enquiries, collect quotations and prepare commercial  comparisons for evaluation and approval.
• Place orders under the guidance of the Purchasing Manager, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and operational requirements.
• Monitor requisition and order status, maintaining close follow up with suppliers to ensure timely execution.
• Coordinate with vessels, agents, suppliers and forwarders to support smooth and cost effective deliveries.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, delivery confirmations and supplier-related documentation.
• Assisting in maintaining and updating supplier databases and related documentation.
• Contribute to the continuous and efficient support of fleet purchasing activities and vessel operations.

Candidate’s profile

• University Degree in Shipping, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business or related field.
• Minimum 2- 3 years of relevant working experience in shipping.
• Fluency in spoken and written English and Greek.
• Very good PC knowledge (MS Office and purchasing systems).
• Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
• Ability to prioritize effectively and perform efficiently under operational demands and deadlines.
• Team spirit, reliability and willingness to learn and grow within the role.

We are looking to recruit a Technical Superintendent for our Technical Department.

The position is a full-time role based at the Company’s offices in the northern suburbs of Athens.

Candidate Profile / Qualifications

1. Holder of Chief Engineer’s License
2. Any supplementary academic education is considered as an asset
3. A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a Technical Superintendent role in a Tanker operating Company
4. Excellent command of English (written and spoken) and strong IT literacy are mandatory
5. Strong leadership, communication, team – oriented mindset, and organizational skills
6. Ability to work under pressure and manage emergencies effectively

Additional Assets

1. Experience in newbuilding projects, including site deployment
2. Familiarity with the BENEFIT Planned Maintenance System (PMS)
3. Active involvement in the planning and execution of TMSA and/or Rightship Audits
4. Ability to manage and oversee project execution

Primary Responsibilities

1. Supervise and ensure the optimal technical performance and maintenance of assigned vessels
2. Ensure compliance with all applicable international standards, company policies, and recognized industry practices
3. Plan, participate in, and execute dry-dockings, routine inspections, and on-site audits in accordance with the Company’s annual audit plan
4. Support operational activities of vessels, ensuring effective technical guidance and problem resolution
5. Monitor budget, vessel’s performance, and constantly ensure adequate and cost-effective operations
6. Abroad deployment as required to conduct visits, audits and inspections
