We are seeking a Purchasing Officer to join our Purchasing Department.

As a Purchasing Officer, you will actively support the purchasing operations of the fleet, ensuring the smooth coordination, follow-up and timely delivery of supplies critical to vessel operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the purchasing process throughout the order lifecycle, ensuring accurate and timely follow-up.
- Process vessel requisitions for supplies such as chemicals, paints and gases.
- Issue enquiries, collect quotations and prepare commercial comparisons for evaluation and approval.
- Place orders under the guidance of the Purchasing Manager, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and operational requirements.
- Monitor requisition and order status, maintaining close follow up with suppliers to ensure timely execution.
- Coordinate with vessels, agents, suppliers and forwarders to support smooth and cost effective deliveries.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records, delivery confirmations and supplier-related documentation.
- Assisting in maintaining and updating supplier databases and related documentation.
- Contribute to the continuous and efficient support of fleet purchasing activities and vessel operations.
Candidate’s profile
- University Degree in Shipping, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business or related field.
- Minimum 2- 3 years of relevant working experience in shipping.
- Fluency in spoken and written English and Greek.
- Very good PC knowledge (MS Office and purchasing systems).
- Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
- Ability to prioritize effectively and perform efficiently under operational demands and deadlines.
- Team spirit, reliability and willingness to learn and grow within the role.

We are looking to recruit a Technical Superintendent for our Technical Department.
The position is a full-time role based at the Company’s offices in the northern suburbs of Athens.
Candidate Profile / Qualifications
- Holder of Chief Engineer’s License
- Any supplementary academic education is considered as an asset
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a Technical Superintendent role in a Tanker operating Company
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken) and strong IT literacy are mandatory
- Strong leadership, communication, team – oriented mindset, and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage emergencies effectively
Additional Assets
- Experience in newbuilding projects, including site deployment
- Familiarity with the BENEFIT Planned Maintenance System (PMS)
- Active involvement in the planning and execution of TMSA and/or Rightship Audits
- Ability to manage and oversee project execution
Primary Responsibilities
- Supervise and ensure the optimal technical performance and maintenance of assigned vessels
- Ensure compliance with all applicable international standards, company policies, and recognized industry practices
- Plan, participate in, and execute dry-dockings, routine inspections, and on-site audits in accordance with the Company’s annual audit plan
- Support operational activities of vessels, ensuring effective technical guidance and problem resolution
- Monitor budget, vessel’s performance, and constantly ensure adequate and cost-effective operations
- Abroad deployment as required to conduct visits, audits and inspections
